Bay Birch Gallery & Home was created as a space to celebrate art, nature, and the spirit of Door County. Founded by Pam and Kevin Ladesic, the gallery reflects a shared appreciation for creativity, craftsmanship, and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Kevin is a dentist by trade, including eight years spent serving as a dentist in the U.S. Navy. In 2011, after selling his dental practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he stepped away from dentistry to explore a long-held curiosity about art. What began as classes at a local community college soon grew into a deeper pursuit, eventually leading him to study medical illustration at the University of Illinois Chicago.
During that time, Kevin discovered that his true artistic passion was drawing and painting landscapes. The natural world—its light, movement, and quiet moments—became the focus of his creative work.
Today, Kevin has returned to dentistry, but his love of art remains a vital part of his life.
Pam’s connection to Door County runs deep. She grew up spending her summers here and now calls Sister Bay home. The peninsula’s shoreline, forests, and changing seasons have long been a source of inspiration and belonging.
Together, Pam and Kevin created Bay Birch Gallery & Home as a shared passion project—one that brings together Kevin’s artwork, thoughtfully curated pieces, and a celebration of the natural beauty that defines Door County. The gallery is both a creative outlet and a welcoming space for visitors and the community to experience art inspired by this special place.
